What in the World is a Troglobite?

Troglobites are animals that have fully adapted to the cave environment and live their entire lives in caves. These animals cannot live on the surface because of these adaptations. Another name for troglobites is obligate cavernicoles and troglobites that live in aquatic environments are called stygobionts.
